Instruments We Teach
Making Learning More Enjoyable
Bass Guitar Lessons
Do you enjoy low, deep sound? Do you like playing cool bass parts? Then bass guitar is for you! Essential in every modern band, this instrument is enjoyable and fun to learn...
The most primal of all instruments. Since humans first grasped two sticks and created a beat, the drums have been the heartbeat of music. All modern music is lead by the beat of the drums.
If you are looking for a fun, portable and affordable instrument to learn, than ukulele is for you. It is a very beginner friendly instrument that is easy to pick up and start playing. Ukulele is also very hip.
"Faris Music Studio is the musical gem of St. Thomas! We are so blessed to have this pedagogically-sound music instruction right here in this little town. And presented with such kindness, gentleness, and creativity, too! Stephen and Natalia know just how to tailor their lessons to meet the needs and interests of our daughters while ensuring they continue to advance and stay focused. The girls love that they get to perform with other kids at the bi-annual recitals and we love the musical community that is forming there and always really enjoy those evenings. Thanks, you two! We're privileged to have you as teachers"

"Faris Music Studio has provided an excellent foundation of music for my daughter. Natalia provides excellent instruction and motivation for her students. We have watched our daughter take on the challenge of new music and skills with confidence. We believe she is receiving a solid foundation in piano technique, music history and performance style. But above all, she continues to learn with the joy of music"

"Our family has three children taking piano lessons with Natalia Faris and we have been with her for the last 3 years. Our boys all enjoy her teaching methods (especially when she uses games to teach!), and she consistently makes more abstract concepts easy for them to understand. They have all gained skill and discipline in practicing, even performing in front of an audience at recitals or festivals. Natalia is always happy to see our family, she is patient with our children, and she is definitely a teacher we are truly comfortable with."

BMus (UWO), Registered Music Teacher
Since I was a young girl I dreamed about teaching. I also fell in love with piano at the age of 6. I can say that I have a dream job now - teaching PIANO.
I began my music education at 6 years of age in Moscow, Russia. After moving to Canada in 2001, I continued my musical education at the University of Western Ontario where I majored in piano. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (Honors) from UWO.
I strive to provide students with a solid grounding in sight reading, music theory, technical proficiency and performance abilities. I also believe that lessons should always be fun and engaging.
BMus (UWO), Music Industry Arts Degree (Fanshawe College)
I've been offering music lessons for over 20 years. My job is a passion for me, and it brings me joy to be able to share this passion with my students. I have classical training from the University of Western Ontario, where I studied voice and graduated with Honors Degree in Music Education. Along with my classical training, I have a lot of experience playing and teaching contemporary Praise and Worship Music.
I believe that each one of my students has a unique learning style, therefore I strive to find out what that is and adapt my lessons accordingly.
I teach VOICE, ACOUSTIC and ELECTRIC GUITAR, BASS GUITAR, DRUMS, UKULELE and KEYBOARD.
